Do you have faith?

In every step you take the distance increases;

Though you reach the milestones you never finish your course;

Till you drop down and nature takes its course with life.

Others as they review the episodes of life,

Will say volumes to an extend of exaggerating,

When you can’t even answer back that it ain’t so.

Every round you take higher, goes higher

Such that you can’t help but always pause

Because it is not easy to climb to the summit

Others fall on the way, without reaching their goals

Others give up the towel

because they can’t take it to face the challenge

Others simply remain camping at the base of the mountain of life

Since they do not believe that they need to face the challenge

Few ultimately reach their milestone of the summit

And everyone cheers, but they have to come back to start afresh the next year

Till they too give up and the mountain win at last.

We all have courses to finish and summits to climb

We all have milestones to finish

We all have great moments and bad ones too

We all have challenges to conquer

We all have to go through pains and sufferings

We all have to suffer loss and sadness

We all have to fail in order to win

We all have to face some defeat some day

We all have to get some plenty and sometimes not have enough

This is the food we all have to eat, such is the destiny of all humanity

When its your turn to face those unpleasant moments in your milestone

Remember all are not immune to what you are going through

You will need to deep, deep beyond material

And not just remain on the periphery of your soul

You have to breakthrough the barriers of your spirituality

To access the faith in whatever seems to be beyond grasp

Though sometimes there’ll be nothing tangible to prove

Though life cannot be reversed, nor scars removed

Though the impressions will forever remain for those watching to comment

You would have completed your race

Remember, life cannot be measured by what others decide in their minds

Perceptions about you may influence your decisions but not your destiny

You have to decide your final destination, and be responsible

You have to account for your destination and not to shift the blame

At the end the buck stops with you and nobody else

You may say it aint so simple, sure it aint

However, everybody needs to have their share of the cake of life

Everybody have their burdens to carry

Everybody have their dull moments and episodes of nightmare

Sometimes life is even cut short while everybody had high hopes

Because it is not about what we see, and what everybody hopes

It is all about your faith that will matter after all ends

When the chapters of your life folds, the legacy that you live behind should be faith

We all need faith that will keep us going when the going gets tough

We all need faith that will help us to brave the storms of life and take the beating

We all need faith to anchor us when things fall apart

We all need faith when all around we face the devastations of nature

We all need faith when we lose our beloved ones

We all need faith to help us raise ourselves from dust,

clean ourselves up, raise our chest with pride, lift our chins  and walk on with confidence

We all need faith to live with hope and also die with confidence for our beliefs

When we win faith kept us focused, when we lose faith lift us up

When everything is over, everybody who followed the episodes of our lives will ultimately confess

That thanks be to God! Praise be to God, this one fell down holding the beacon of faith

All those that fall asleep holding faith, they will at the appointed time rise through faith

It’s all about faith!
